National Letter of Intent Day: Madison Davidson Signs to SMU

On Wednesday the 9th of November, 2011, Jenks High School Senior Madison Davidson committed to Southern Methodist University by signing her letter of intent. The event was attended by athletes, coaches and parents of Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors.

Madison joined the Tulsa Rowing Cub Juniors in March earlier this year and in a few months attracted the attention of many college coaches from across the region. From the first day that Madison was a member of the TRCJ program, she was intent on achieving the goal of  obtaining a collegiate rowing scholarship. As a result of her hard work, the support of the coaches and her fellow athletes, Madison achieved her goal officially today.

Program Head Coach, Neil Bergenroth, said a few words on her behalf before  she signed her letter of intent with proud parents Jim and Erin Davidson present to witness the occasion.

Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors would like to congratulate Madison on her achievement and all members of the club look forward to supporting Madison as she competes for the club in the spring of 2012 and continues to row for four years at SMU.

Way to go Madison!
